About SanGIS

Staff

SanGIS uses a variety of methods to employ staff to meet its mission objectives. SanGIS is staffed with personnel from the City and County of San Diego, area staffing agencies, and long and short term support contracts on an as-needed basis. SanGIS currently employs 15 full and part time staff organized in three functional groups:

Operations

Maintains the Landbase layers, ensures data quality through problem investigation and corrections, performs editing for special projects

Data Warehouse

Maintains and supports the JPA member data warehouse and the Regional (Public) warehouse, provides custom mapping for the City and County of San Diego Departments and the general public

Administration

Provides IT support, database maintenance and support, custom programming, and financial and operations management
